Week 7: Tidbits of Information

It was an exciting week with all the different dress up days to celebrate homecoming week for the high school.  We also had a visit from the Omaha Symphony, an afternoon with Mr. Domsch as our guest teacher while I took my son to the hospital for a broken arm, and a celebration this afternoon of the Feast of Trumpets.  It officially feels like fall, one of my favorite times of the year!  I pray you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this beautiful fall weather.
English: Students worked hard this past week writing personal narratives and typing his or her paper on Google Docs and sharing it with me for the first time.  It took a little while to get started, but they all figured it out.  A few students may still need to finish typing their paper over the weekend and sharing it with me.

Math: Test on Tuesday. Review sheets will go home on Monday.  Students are allowed to correct their tests for 1/2 the points back.  A parent signature is required on the test though.

Spelling: test will be on Thursday this week.

No Memory this week!

Religion: Students are working in groups to create Fruits of the Spirit skits.  Look for these videos to be posted to each student's Seesaw portfolio next Thursday.

Science: Each child was assigned a famous rock formation for a report.  They will mostly be working on this in class.  The only thing I will need to have them do at home is, print out a colored picture of the formation they have been assigned to glue onto the small board I have for them.  Pictures should be no larger than 4x6 size.
