Week 9 Tidbits of Information

Rain Rain go away . . .  I'm praying you all have the chance to get out tomorrow and enjoy a little sunshine and more fall like temperatures!  It's hard to believe that we are already at the end of the first quarter.  This group of kiddos is amazing and has done an excellent job of transitioning into fifth grade.  They love to be challenged and try new things, which makes them a lot of fun to teach!

No spelling this week due to the shortened week.

Memory will be on Wednesday over the 9th commandment and meaning.

Our class is leading chapel on Wednesday.  Please come and attend if you are able.

Math test on Monday.  Your child was sent home with a review sheet to complete over the weekend.

Reading: We are finishing up Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and will be working on a final project during class this week.

Field Trip to the Holland on Wednesday, October 24th.  We will be seeing Dorrance Dance.
Award-winning company Dorrance Dance brings electronic tap music to Omaha! Based in New York City, the troupe’s work aims to honor tap dance’s uniquely beautiful history in a new, dynamic and compelling context. In ETM: Double Down, three musicians, a break-dancer and eight ace tap dancers deliver an absorbing performance that twitches with invention on an electronic dance floor.

Upcoming Events:
