Week 16: Tidbits of Information

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .  there's just something about snow at Christmas time that seems so magical and brings such joy to kids and adults alike!  I pray that during this busy time of year you can still enjoy these simple things and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.  Without Him nothing else really matters.

Christmas stockings instead of gift exchange.  Please look for the flyer in your child's Monday envelope explaining how we will give gifts in our classroom this year.  It should be easier and cost less, but be just as exciting!

We will be finishing up our Science unit on rocks and minerals on Tuesday and then will end this semester with some fun Christmas Science labs!

Memory - we will have one more regular verse this week.  The last two weeks of this semester will be the books of the Old Testament and New Testament.  Your child can say both Old and New Testament on the same day or in the same week or they can just recite Old Testament the first week and the New Testament the second week.

Christmas Party - We will have our class Christmas party on Thursday, December 20th at 2pm.
